Bold, emotionally resonant and innovative theatre

Founded and led by producer Clare Formon, In Black Ink is a London-based production company that looks to move audiences, challenge convention and celebrate the transformative power of music and storytelling.

Don’t Forget

A musical inspired by real events, Don't Forget showcases the extraordinary power of music in evoking memories through a prophetic and deeply emotional narrative.

Don't Forget, set in London, tells the story of a musical love triangle across three decades. In the late '80s, Sean, a married PhD student, meets Frankie, a fiercely talented young singer, and enters a creative and emotional whirlwind that almost changes everything.

Thirty years later his wife, Helen, is driven to reopen an old door. When Frankie learns why, she discovers that a prophecy made many years before has come true. Will buried memories bring them peace or tear their lives apart?

Don't Forget inspires us all to live fully in the present and embrace the beauty of today.

Book & lyrics by Max Barton

Additional music: George Fenton

Don’t Forget is based on the life and music of Keith Ramon Cole
